Moved into an apartment. I like it. Jessa’s still getting used to it.
It was a massive downsizing, going from a four bedroom 1800 sq foot place with a garage to a two bedroom 800 square foot apartment was a bit of a shock. We had to get rid of a lot of crap—probably good for us.
I figure that the move will save us at least $12,000 a year, which means that before taxes, we can bring home $16,000 less a year and still be in the same place. That’s close to half of a teacher’s salary. That house was expensive.
