Why am I so achy today? Must be getting old.
Here’s my newish daily routine (for the past three weeks or so):
- Hear freakish voices at 4:25 am
- Turn off the alarm at 4:25.02 am
- Sit up, snuggle with the cat
- Stumble out of bed
- Clean up the spilled coffee from the programmable coffee maker
- Pour a cup of coffee what’s left of the programmable coffee maker
- Feed thd dog and cat
- Put on workout clothes, grab the packed gym bag, and hop in the car. I’ve been trying to get to this step at 4:45, but something always slows me down (unpacked gym bag, spilled coffee, etc).
- Go to the gym, pump some iron arnold style
- Shower there, change
- Drive to work, finish off the coffee. I get at work around 6:30 – 7.
- Sign in to my workstation
- Do email and check news via http://www.google.com/reader
- Walk down to the caferteria with a programming book of some sort (so I’m working) and eat breakfast and read. It’s around 8 am.
- Head back to my desk, work.
- Eat peanuts or a protein bar around 10 am.
- Eat lunch around 12:30 pm.
- Leave work around 3 pm.
- Run or swim. Shower.
- Head home. It’s around 4:30 pm now.
- Do my personal consulting stuff for a few hours
- Jessa comes home around 7, she makes dinner, we eat, I clean
- If there’s good stuff on TV, I watch it. Otherwise, I might read or work.
- Pack gym bag for tomorrow.
- In bed before 10. ZZZZZ
That should make the job of stalking me a lot easier. You’re welcome, forgie.
I’ve worked out 7 days in a row. Go me.
It’s lunch time now. I’m hungry. I’m going to eat lunch.

Honestly.
I know this is now ugly—I’ll fix it sometime.
This is my cat. You will watch it and say “Awww….”

Migrated my blog to some new software and onto a new server. Let me know it works.
