I am 27 years old and live in Seattle, WA. I’m married to a beautiful girl and have a dog and a cat.
History
I grew up in Albany, Oregon and lived there for 18 years. I swam a lot. Then I moved up to Seattle, Washington and went to school at Seattle University. I got my computer science and business degrees there. I got a job at Boeing and worked on super-secret high-tech military software (not as exciting as it sounds). I did that for almost three years, and then quit to join a new startup business: Tanga.com. I spent most of my free time on that and work from home. It’s quite a nice job. I’m now working on Tanga part-time and spend the rest of the time doing contract programming work for Fixie.

Technical Skills
- I love the Ruby programming language—it’s my preferred one.
- I know most of the ins and outs of C++.
- I’m most comfortable in a *nix environment, preferably with a GNU userland.
- My favorite Linux is Ubuntu, my favorite BSD is FreeBSD, and my preferred “production” OS is OpenSolaris.
- My favorite text editor is vim. I’m trying out TextMate though.
- Ruby On Rails is my favorite tool for developing web applications.
