My office has carpeted floors, I’d estimate about 1/4 of an inch thick. My chair doesn’t move that easy over the carpet. Would one of those plastic mats be a good investment, so that I could scoot around my spacious desk easier?
Holy cow, they look expensive!

go to used store first then target etc much cheaper we have extra one come and get it

If you are looking for a cheap chair mat, get one at Costco (in store). $13. Best deal ever. All chair mats end up looking like crap in a month anyway, might as well do it cheap.

Get me one while you’re at it. Mine is done. They do have good ones at Costco, but don’t get a used one. They crack with age.

I got one at Ikea—too bad I didn’t see this before I went.
Ikea is now open until 8 or 9 each day, woohoo.
