When people and animals live together, I think they start to slowly merge into one being.
Here are the facts:
- Our dog is weird and rolls on the ground to scratch her ears. She demands food at 5 am. Our cat, days after arriving, rolls on the ground to scratch her ears and also demands food at 5 am.
- I am a huge nerd. My wife, by nature, is not a huge nerd. But here she is, staying up until 2 am making websites. And she also was hooked on World of Warcraft, which is a fairly nerdy game.
- The dogs snorts when she is happy. The rest of us now all snort when we are happy, in imitation of the dog.
- I now use hairspray on my luscious locks, just like the rest the girls in the house. (if I don’t, then my hair always gets down in my face)

It’ll be cool when you start rolling on the ground to scratch your ears.

but the real question is … do you roll on the ground to scratch your ears and do you demand food at 5am?

Also, I’ve read 5 of the 30 books on that book list thing under ‘my lists’... in case you were curious.
1984 (great) Pride & Prejudice (terrible) Lord of the Flies (terrible) Grapes of Wrath (good, but depressing) One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch (great)
